The Master Program in “Energy and Smart Grids” adapts to the transformation of the energy sector and catalyst of a real technological revolution. New professions have emerged and the demand for engineers with a background in energy, computer and embedded systems is growing.
The challenges of climate change and the recent directives of the European Commission to encourage the development of renewable energy sources will have significant impact on the transportation and distribution networks (particularly for electricity and gas).
Tomorrow’s energy management will increasingly be carried out at the city, region, country, and the continent level. Smart electrical and gas networks must integrate new information technologies (data processing from intelligent sensors), communication pathways (capturing and uploading data) and embedded systems (sensor and actuator designs) to ensure the balance of supply and demand in energy requirements in real time while ensuring the stability and safety of the distribution network.
4TH YEAR (M1)
5TH YEAR (M2)
By the end of this program, the new engineer will be able to work in the field of renewable energies with the following skills:
For recent graduates
For graduates with 3-5 years’ experience
For graduates with 6 or more years’ experience
