Jean-Charles Huet is a Research Professor and Head of the Master Program “Digital Transformation and Cloud Services” at Efrei (Engineering school of digital technologies), France. Huet obtained his PhD in 2011 at Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand. During his doctorate, he worked as a hospital engineer at the Clermont-Ferrand University hospital, where he participated in the automation of the drug circuit.
Huet began teaching at the French Institute for Advanced Mechanics (IFMA), an engineering school in Clermont-Ferrand, before joining the ECAM-EPMI engineering schools in Cergy-Pontoise and then the EIGSI in La Rochelle. He now works as EFREI, where he teaches various subjects such as information systems modeling and Advanced databases. He is also the head of the Information Technology Pole, which regroups four Master Programs, including the program in “Ditigal Transformation and Cloud Services”, for which he is also responsible.
Huet’s work in research mainly focuses on corporate and hospital information systems taking human aspects into account. More specifically, he studied the concepts of Cloud Computing and Business Process.
