Bienvenue en France Label

Efrei, certified two stars

In 2019, Efrei obtained the “Bienvenue en France” Label issued by Campus France. Our school is thus recognized for the quality of our welcome to international students. As well as our commitment to a general high-quality service offered to international students upon their arrival and throughout their time at the school.

What is the “Bienvenue en France” Label?

The “Bienvenue en France” label is issued to higher education establishments that have implemented systems to improve the quality of their welcome and support provided to international students.

To obtain the label, establishments are assessed according to the following five criteria:

Quality of information and access to information

Information relating to admission procedures, training and programs is available on Efrei’s website, in French, English and Chinese. Pages specially dedicated to international students allow them to prepare their mobility project in France and to integrate campus life.

As soon as international students are accepted at Efrei, they receive a welcome booklet which details the administrative procedures to be carried out before arriving in France and specifies useful information to simplify settling into the school (contacts, calendar, etc.).

Students have access to computer rooms, a scanning and printing service and can benefit from a wifi network covering the entire campus.

Welcome initiatives

Upon their arrival at the school, international students are invited to participate in the orientation days organized by the education services and the Department of Studies.

An orientation program for international students is also organized by the international service in connection with the international student associations of Efrei. These programs include cultural and friendly activities promoting meet-ups with students from the school by discovering the campus and Parisian life.

The International Relations Department and the Efrei International student association offer a range of services to international students: pick-up at the airport service, a sponsorship system, French tutoring, assistance with administrative formalities, etc.

School programs

International students can access courses offered in French and English. They evolve in a digitized learning environment and have access to many collaborative workspaces (student hub, innovation lab, etc.).

The Student Success Unit ensures the daily academic follow-up of all students, including international students, to provide assistance adapted to different needs. When necessary, international students can benefit from personalized tutoring in scientific or general education subjects.

Housing and life on campus

International students are supported throughout their time at Efrei by teams who help facilitate their administrative procedures. A partnership with the CROUS (French Regional Student Assistance Office) and student residences give students access to a wide range of housing options.

A university restaurant managed by the CROUS allows students to eat on campus.

International students are invited to participate in the school’s community life and to join one of the fifty associations active in many fields (arts, sports, technology, humanitarian, etc.).

The quality of post-graduation follow-up

The Efrei Alumni association, with its 12,000 former students, is an asset for the integration and professional mobility of its members. The association allows access to an online directory on its website. It also organizes numerous professional events for Alumni and leads national and international groups.

Efrei accompanies students who wish to create their own business thanks to its “Entrepreneurship Course” scheme.
