Computer equipment

Efrei’s computer equipment allows each student-engineer to study in the best conditions.

The Villejuif campus has nearly 450 computers for students and 16 labs (one of which is equipped only with Mac computers), open from 7:30 am to 9 pm.

Efrei has recently acquired an innovative, paperless solution: the Virtual Lab. It offers students a technical and applied environment deployed in the cloud, allowing students to have all the latest technology necessary for learning on their personal laptop, and to carry out practical work and projects on and off campus.

All the software used in the framework of the courses, such as Python 3.6, Jupyter, Mongo DB, Neo4j, Hadoop, Hive, Hue (gethue), Camunda Modeler, StarUML, Java JDK 1.8, Eclipse photon JEE developper, Apache Active MQ 5.x.x, Rabbit MQ, Angular, Docker community edition, SOAPUI open source…

The computer equipment is regularly updated and renewed so we can offer the latest technological services.

Premises dedicated to student life

Students also have several rooms reserved for them. Above all, these spaces are places of exchange, offering various services and dedicated to different activities: group work, meetings for associations, information on events, photocopies, concerts…

The Student Hub: 600 m2 dedicated to students and associations (co-working, study, relaxation, and restaurant spaces that allow students to work and meet in the best conditions).

The Student Office (BDE).

The CROUS cafeteria.

The LIVE Efrei rehearsal room.

The radio room.

The Innovation'Lab, where projects come to life

As part of its ongoing quest for innovation, Efrei has built an Innovation’Lab of more than 120m2 in the heart of its campus.

Accessible to students, alumni, professors and lecturer-researchers, this innovation space is designed to encourage the conception and development of projects and prototypes. Also to serve as a space for exchanging knowledge and skills.

It is also a teaching space based on Efrei’s project-based teaching method. Students take courses in design thinking, prototyping… and work on innovative projects.
