Salim Nahle received an engineering degree in Telecommunications and Computing from the Lebanese University School of Engineering in 2005, followed by a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UMPC (2006 and 2009). He subsequently worked as a Temporary Teaching and Research Fellow at the University of Paris-13. Salim Nahle’s research activities focused on wireless mesh networks based on Wi-Fi and WiMAX technologies. He has studied issues related to sequencing , routing and quality of service in these networks.
Between 2011 and 2014, Salim Nahle worked as a Research and Development Engineer on the CT Revolution Project at General Electric Healthcare. Between 2014 and 2019, he was Head of the Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and Big Data department at ECE, where he created two majors : Big Data & Analytics and Defensive Cybersecurity.
At Efrei, Salim Nahle is Head of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Department and Head of the Master’s in Big Data and Machine Learning.
